WHO WE ARE?
In Canada alone, about 1.2 million young people are affected by mental health, and as it stands, about 85% of them will not receive the supports they need. National data that reflect the well-being of Canadian and American children and youth paint a complex picture, but evidence suggests that young people are experiencing increased rates of anxiety, sadness, hopelessness, loneliness, self-harm, and suicidality. In a climate where living costs are soaring, accessible public health services are stretched, and technological advancements are impacting young generations in unprecedented ways, our mission is to provide science-based, developmentally oriented, and trauma-informed services to kids, teens, and their families so that they can nurture their neurodevelopment, mental health, and wellness.
“Our mission is to deliver science-based, developmentally oriented, and trauma-informed care to young people so to nurture their neurodevelopment, mental health, and wellness.

Cara Coldwell,
Where are we located?
A developmentally-oriented, client-centered, and trauma-informed service is at the forefront of everything we do. From the services we offer, to the space that we work from. We are conveniently located in the west end of Toronto, along major public transportation lines, in a stunning heritage building that hosts the Museum of Contemporary Art, Pride Toronto, Toronto Biennial of Art, and other social, cultural, and creative enterprises. In this space, children and teens can walk into an artful, creative, and inspiring building that allows them to feel comfortable, at-ease, and open to therapeutic and deeply transformative experiences. We offer a space that integrates elements of nature, art, and play to support the cognitive, social, and emotional well-being of children and teens. The space features tall ceilings, large windows, an abundance of natural light, and plenty of living plants so to create an inviting, soothing, and serene atmosphere that promotes relaxation and well-being. We offer child-friendly aesthetics, life-sized games, mini-sports, a growing library of books, and plenty of arts and crafts to engage and inspire younger clients and families alike.
