Clinical Assistant
Cara holds a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Education, which she earned in 2011 from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. Before joining House of Minds, Cara worked as an elementary school teacher and also gained significant experience supporting at-risk youth in group homes within the foster care system. Additionally, she spent several years as a wildlife educator, where she shared her passion for wildlife conservation with people of all ages. In her free time, Cara is an avid outdoor enthusiast, engaging in activities like hiking, biking, floor hockey, slow-pitch, and swimming. She connects with the soothing and restorative qualities of nature and often finds herself drawn to outdoor adventures.
