Specialties and Expertise

Founder, Director, Clinical Psychologist

My mission is to support kids, teens, and families of the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities of Ontario. I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, as well as the Founder and Director of House of Minds, a psychology practice dedicated to providing trauma-informed, developmentally-oriented, and evidence-based psychological services to young people who experience a range of challenges, including those that are normative (e.g., anxiety, grief, bullying, conflict resolution, academic and athletic performance), as well as those that relate to neurodevelopment, complex mental health, and high-risk behaviour (e.g., autism spectrum, learning disabilities, executive functions, developmental trauma, personality issues, substance use, self-harm, suicidality, aggression and violence). To this end, I offer consultation, psychotherapy, as well as comprehensive psychological, psycho-educational and psycho-diagnostic assessments specific to various concerns and diagnostic presentations (e.g., Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, and Disruptive, Impulse Control Disorders).

Over the last two decades, I have worked with kids, teens, and families in various settings, including private practice, community mental health, hospital, residential, youth justice, and secure treatment.  For example, I completed my clinical residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and specifically, the Adolescent Forensic Service, where I completed court-ordered assessments for youth involved with the justice system, as well as the Better Behaviour Service, where I provided evidence-based interventions to children presenting with externalizing difficulties.  Following my licensure as an autonomous psychologist in 2015, I worked with Kinark, Child and Family Services, and specifically the Syl Apps Youth Centre, where I had the honor of serving some of the most complex and challenging  children and youth who were involved with the justice system, or alternatively, who were court-ordered for a period of secure treatment. Relatedly, I’ve worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association, as well as the Province of Ontario, providing specialized assessments to youth who presented with complex neuro-developmental, mental health, and high-risk needs.

And outside of the public system, I’ve concurrently worked in private practice, at the Oakville Centre for Cognitive Therapy, and in 2025, founded House of Minds, where my clinical work reflects an integration of previous experiences and knowledge so to provide progressive, tailored, and effective interventions that help young people live healthy, meaningful, and purposeful lives. With all of this in mind, if you and/or your child or teen are looking to connect with a psychologist, I’d love to hear from you to discuss ways in which I might be able to provide support.
